Goodread Synopsis -

Seduced by Innocence (The Seduced Saga, Book 1 of Rose's Trilogy)Their passion will destroy them.
Only true love can save them.

"Liquid fire poured into me, filling me with the intimate sense of him as he leaned in to claim my lips with his own. I reached for him, needing him closer, but my arms couldn't close the distance between us, which grew wider with each hitched breath. So close to finally feeling something real, something carnal and deep, I cried out in frustration, dropping my hands as he disappeared. My cries deepened into a frenzy of panic and my eyes flew open. I clutched my blanket and stilled myself to calm my racing heart.

Just a dream. Always just a dream."

Rose Wintersong didn't have an ordinary upbringing. Raised in what most would call a hippy commune, but what is actually a powerful coven of witches, she never questions the life fate chose for her.

Until she meets Derek O'Conner.

Derek challenges everything Rose believes and forces her to see the secrets hidden beneath the whitewashed walls of her idyllic country life.

Rose knows she should walk away, that the sexy martial arts instructor is bad news bred to create discord in her tight community… but the animal magnetism between them is impossible to fight.

Caught between the passion of first love, and the steady beat of the life she's always known, Rose must choose between the innocence of her youth or the pleasures of womanhood—but lost innocence comes at a price, and Rose harbors a dark secret that could destroy everyone she loves—including Derek.

*received an copy from author for my honest review of the book*

This book sure had the mysterious element going for it. I thought I knew what Rose was, and in the end I still ended up completely surprised.

This book is like a dark Romeo & Juliet. They are not only different species, a witch and a wold, but they are also neighbouring enemies..

Rose didn't at first know that Derek was one of the wolves next door, and he didn't find out about Rose being part of  the coven, until he had to face in a battle, can you say 'major suck' much?

I was soo rooting for them to somehow resolve their differences, before it was too late. The relationship between Rose and Derek, was sensual, sweet and caring. They actually had time to spend together before all hell broke loose.

They had this intense passion, that I pray to god every night that I will someday have with someone.
They were so real, even though thir  good deal of magic in this book, the real magic was between Rose and Derek. Their relationship was definitely put to the test when Rose had to choose between Derek and her family.

I know!? How can you ask a girl to choose between the love of her life, whom she can't touch and her family.

If you're into drama, intense love passion, and paranormal, then this is definitely a book you need to read!

Excerpt and teaser from Trophy Husband by Lauren Blakely

Hi y'all today I have some hot kissing quote pic from Lauren Blakely's upcoming book, Trophy Husband! I have absolutely LOVED all of Lauren's books, and I am eager to read this, it releases on MAY 21st!!! so mark your calendar ladies ;) And below is a litlle extra sometin' somethin' :P

I close my eyes, and picture a kiss that starts sweet and soft and slow. Then, his hands cup my face as if he’s claiming me, saying you’re mine with his lips and his hands and the way he draws me in close, his thumb tracing a line along my jaw. It’s such a small gesture, but such a poetically possessive one and I arch my back, inviting more. In one swift move, he pulls my chair to him, sliding me between the V of his legs. His fingers thread their way into my hair, and I lean into his hands, reveling in the way they feel against the back of my head, as if he’s holding me in the exact way he wants me, in the exact way I want to be held.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and it allows readers to share the books that they are most looking forwards to reading.

This week, I have picked "Shudder" by Samantha Durant! I loved her first book "Stitch", it was such an original and different read, nothing like I've ever read before, stands out in it's own genre!

Her comfortable university life is but a distant memory, as she faces the prospect of surviving a bleak winter on the meager remains of a ravaged world. And then there are the visions.
The memory-altering “stitch” unlocked something in Alessa’s mind, and now she can’t shake the constant flood of alien feelings ransacking her emotions.
